So there's this new meme for the month of December all about sharing your family's Christmas traditions.
It is quite an elaborate display and every year my husband gets another village piece. I think it makes Christmas around our house. When my son saw the village for the first time, he was full of "eeews" and "ahhhs".
We also think we are going to start a new tradition where we buy Jaydon an ornament every year so that by the time J is an adult he'll have his own set of ornaments. I had a friend in high school who's parents did this. I thought it was cool and I was just reminded of it by the grandma of the little girl I watch and I think we are gonna do it. So J's ornament this year I think should be a train.

My mom always bought us an ornament each year, and when I moved out, she gave them to me. I've started the same tradition with my girls. Every year, everyone gets a new ornament. That's four new ornaments a year. However, there might be a small problem with this plan...to hang all the ornaments, I need about a 20 ft. tree. Maybe I should just start buying for the girls.
That is adorable. I have always wanted one of those villages, I think starting next year I will buy a piece a year
