I just got married and everything was so wonderful. The wedding was picture perfect. The honeymoon was unforgettable. I was starting to think there was no way I would ever fight with this man. Well, after living together for a month, we had to work out a few things. Obviously, we had some different priorities. Since we were a newlywed couple, we had a very small budget for entertainment. Most of our budget went towards house payments and bills. Well, I wanted to use our entertainment budget on date nights and going to the movies. My husband said we should just get the movie channels from direc tv. When I proceeded to tell him that was not the same as going out, he said at least it was cheaper. While I do see his point, date nights are very important to me. I have always thought it is important for a couple to keep dating, even though they are married to one another. Once I explained this to him, he could see my point and agreed we should go on at least one date a month. I think we are going to have a very successful marriage.
