Well this morning I am listening to Baby B babble on the couch and J Myster talk to daddy and I'm sitting in my office in the other room, waking up for the first time in a little over a week in a relaxed state of mind. Life has been super crazy the last two months! The hubs and I are officially home owners! We started our search for the perfect home in March and a week after we've moved in, we are finally able to relax a little before unpacking all the boxes in our garage. I will share our 2 month process with you because I "journaled" the whole thing, from the first house we saw until move in day of the house we bought.
So while I did need a blog vacation. It had two purposes, a mental cleanse and well putting most of my energy into moving. A lot of my blog posts from here on out will be cool DIY projects, recipes and just plain ol fun times with the fam. :) My sweet Baby B turned six months old this week and Its so bitter sweet since the last month has been filled with packing and cleaning and unpacking and more cleaning, I've hardly had time to just sit and enjoy the little dude. But last night I got the chance to sit in our back yard and watch J play and bounce the stinker on my knee. It was a perfect moment.
So here's our adventure:
Its in two parts so I'll let you read part 1 now, and after I get some pictures taken, I'll release part 2 of our home buying adventure.

Congratulations on becoming homeowners! Like you pointed out in Part 1 of your Adventure, it really is a lot more affordable than continuing to pay someone else rent. I just know you're going to have a wonderful time doing DIY projects, too, and we'll all look forward to you sharing them with us!
Thanks Elaine!
Thank you Katie!! :) I can't wait to work on my office. But that has to come after other rooms are painted and set up. Its definitely an adventure.
Congratulations on your new home. Hope you have many happy moments in it. Welcome Back!
