Back to Regular Life...

Geez its Tuesday night and I have the hour to myself while the hubs watches the kids to blog, and I am coming up blank. Serious? Make all these mental updates to blog about things...and then I get the opportunity and my mind is drawing a blank.

So lets see. Lets just go down the list of what I've done today.

I have finally organized my office. All the piles of bills and papers that have been sitting on my desk for three months since we moved, now has a place...an organizational spot. I moved my desk so that I can both look out the window and out into the hall to see what the kids are doing. Hunky Hubs put up a walk thru baby gate at my office door. It didn't have a door on it to begin with, but now with Baby B crawling, he pulls all the books down off my book shelves....so a gate was needed.

I finally got around to updating Baby B's blog of all his milestones. I update it every two weeks and I was 7 posts behind! Thankfully due to the Facebook timeline, I was able to go back and do these posts and notate when Baby B started sitting, when what his first solid food was etc.

Now at 8 months old he's getting into feeding himself. Last week he fed himself a cracker and yogurt melts for the first time and last week he also pulled himself up when he was in his play pen in the kitchen. He's growing so fast...but at the same time I will be happy when I don't have to leave my office every couple of minutes to see what he is doing in the play room, or to find that big brother is mad at him for taking a toy.

Right now life is normalizing....blog life, aka, work ;) is starting back up daily. We are finished painting until at least September and I've been spending the last few weeks enjoying the monsoon season and afternoon rains that cool our house down since we have no AC.

I hope next time I have the opportunity to write I can do it with some purpose and a more thought out post. I need to start jotting things down again when they pop in my mind, but I think for now, the week I can actually mark heading back into a normal daily routine with kids and blogging, I'll make it just an update post.
