Beecology.com is a family made business. Their natural skin care products are made in small batches right here in the USA. These days we are all concerned with what is in our skin products and we know that a great deal of our every day essentials, arent' even made in the United States. That's good ol' outsourcing for ya. Well its nice to know that there are mom and pop companies popping up that have our best interests in mind. Beecology started with a dream and a bee hive on someone's family farm in Middle America USA. Cleveland Ohio to be exact. You are not going to find any formaldehyde or Parabens in this stuff. Beecology specializes in lip balm, soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. I have been able to sample some lotion and soaps and I am very pleased with the lotion. Being the sole dish washer of the family, I tend to have dry hands. Beecology Hand and Body Cream feels very nice on my hands. It moisturizes without feeling too heavy on my skin.
Now
Beecology Soaps are the fun part. They have different kinds with different scents and different purposes. I will have to try some Java Soappuccino Coffee Soap, being the coffee addict I am. I haven't tried the
Dead Sea Mud Soap yet. I will do that in a separate review where I can analyse how my skin does to it. It is supposed to tighten, balance and draw impurities from the skin. So I will start using this today and touch base with you all in a few weeks to let you know how my skin feels. I am really excited about anything that draws impurities out as my skin has kinda flared up recently from stress or eating the wrong foods.
So What do I think of Beecology skin care products? It gets an A in my rating book first and foremost, for not outsourcing. Second, but in my opinion the most important, for using natural elements in their skin care line. The Beecology Hand cream has of course Beeswax, Shea Butter, Olive Oil, Honey and silk protein, all natural ingredients and I wish I could have lathered this stuff on my belly when I was pregnant with Baby B, might have prevented some stretch marks.
