When we bought this house back in May, my mind took off thinking about all the ways we would make this place ours. As any home owner knows when you buy a house you usually have to put some money into it right away to make it what you want it to be, the way you envisioned it in your head. And if you have the means to do so, it becomes your project, your passion and your vision.
The first few days of moving in, I sat on the back deck with baby B in my arms envisioning things. How we'd do the back yard, the patio furniture I wanted. The kids HAD to have a swing set, and when they are a little older I want to get them a trampoline. I want the back yard to be a fun place where all the neighborhood kids want to come.
I almost wish it was another month til fall just so I could enjoy it more before the snow comes. Then again the fall is my favorite time of year.
I am really starting to enjoy my home more now that some of the things I liked about it, like the big grassy back yard are more enjoyable.
When we moved in, the yard was dead. Now its all green grass, we have to de-weed....but still its beautiful green grass.
And now hopefully since I can sit out with the kids in the back yard they'll want to play out here more. We thought we'd loose J to the back yard when we got the swing set. But he still refused to even venture out here without someone with him. But now we all can enjoy being back here. I'm loving it. This is what back yards are for and I owe it all to well the Hubs for His amazing job, our pal Chris for their Pilot that we were able to fit the patio furniture into, and John and Lanny for their sweetness with some late birthday money. They've always treated me like family, and I love them like family. They are like J and B's third set of grandparents, and John is like well J's only grandpa. When the two of them rough house together its fun to watch. I'm also really excited to get to see them more often, since they have a place in Munds now. YAY! Its a hop skip and 20 minute care ride away.
Anyway,
Tomorrow if you use Spotify, you'll have to stop by for the new meme I'm starting up. I still have to create a button for it, but its called Music Mondays where you share your spotify playlist, or a song you've been listening to lately. I'm excited to see it take off. I hope it will.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend, and I will be spending the rest of the day, catching up on reading the weeknd showcase link ups! Check them out, or share a recent blog post here.

Looks like such a peaceful place. Our porch chairs are metal and not as comfy as those look!
They are very comfy. I first sat in them a few weeks before purchasing, but they were too expensive then. Then they dropped in price by a hundred bucks so I knew I had to snatch up that set. Now we just need to get a canopy or Gazebo for shade, but right now out in the middle of the yard next to our swing works for us for a bit. :)
