fodada International Women's Self Defense Day:
An Event for EmpowermentLOS ANGELES- October 10, 2012- On November 3rd, fodada, a fashion brand dedicated to dads and everything they love, is launching the first annual fodada Women's Self Defense Day dedicated to providing free self defense classes to women in cities across the U.S. and around the world. These two-hour classes are designed to empower women and heighten awareness about dealing with threatening situations.
"One of the most important things to any dad are the women in his life, be it his wife, daughter, mother or sister," says Bobby Barzi, chief dada of fodada. "If it's important to dads, it's important to us, which is why we are launching this program."
A basic self defense agenda has been prepared by United States Martial Arts Hall of Famer and Technical Sponsor, Master Instructor Steve Ross of Orange County Academy of Martial Arts. To register to attend a class in one of the following cities, please visitwww.fodadawear.com.
*this event is recommended and designed for participants above the age of 13
fodada is created "fodadas" who live their life around their kids; dads who pretend to be jungle animals one minute and a super hero the next. Dads who never miss a goal and don't mind playing doll house for hours. The fashion line is for fathers who need some comfortable, cozy and hip clothes to relax, play or do whatever in. A portion of all fodada proceeds go towards Giving Children Hope and Autism Speaks. fodada is now looking to strengthen and empower women to protect themselves by sponsoring an International Women's Self Defense Day; www.fodadawear.com.
