I just wanted to write a quick note to all my pals that stop by on the weekends especially those that participate in the Weekend Showcase. I am making an effort to be more unplugged on the weekends and spend more time with my family. This doesn't mean that I will stop reading your posts. I will just catch up and read them during the week. Just wanted everyone to know. Hope you are having a great weekend, as for me I stepped on a nail on the first day of spring weather here in the high country of Arizona and this morning I have to get a tetanus shot. Fun times!

It really is super nice to unplug and get away from it all. We are getting too wrapped up in all the phones and facebook and computer stuff :( Thanks for reminding us to unplug!
I know what you mean. I'm doing the same... and in fact just "unplugged" from the tv/computer/ipod for all day Friday & Satruday. :)
Lisa, you've rubbed off on me a bit. I've thought of what you said reading your posts and I know that I'm forgetting about what is sacred, and these are my years to spend with my kids, so I really need to have some mandatory unplugged hours. It is difficult since I have a home business, but its totally possible and needed because these years are going to fly by and I kick myself if I knew I spent precious hours in front of a screen instead of doing something fun with my boys! ;)
I understand. I'm making the same decision. My blog/site is taking time away from my family, my wife reminded me of that today. We will all be here tomorrow. Take care.
